Re: Stansted 1st visit

there was a few locals turned out for the sun country, there was also lots of talk about the plus ultra, but due to the 230 mile trip home and the potential of hitting the bank holiday traffic and work on tuesday i couldn't hang around much after midday I would like to spend more time in this area a...

Bat 21 Wins !! Sorry not posted a reply, been unwell. They were indeed shot from the end of the corridor, level 2 of the Renaissance, luckily we had the room next to it so I was able to wait for something on finals and pop out, you have to be on the ball though as you get a 2-3 second opportunity b...

Re: Golden Hour at LHR

Great set as Mike asks where did you take them from ditto, excellent. I think they might be from the Radisson Paul / Mike but I believe you have to take through glass there and if that's the case that makes them even better as a photo achievement Andy do you mean the renaissance heathrow? the Radis...

Re: canon 7D mk11 front focus issues

hi, Did you get to the bottom of the problem, or did you revert to sending it off for calibration? I've just got rid of my 100-400 L mk1 for the simple reason that I seemed to bin more than I kept - have traded that for a Canon 300mm F4 L. Dan I printed off a focus calibration chart mounted it to c...

Re: back button focusing

Just to open an old thread & give me spin on it. I shoot lot's of Military aircraft & have found a far greater percentage of keepers when using the back button to focus than trying to keep the shutter button in the right place, In fact I'm so used to it now I tend to use it for all of my focusing d...

Re: Manchester 1st July

some great shots paul

I think where these were taken from is my fave spot on the south side now as you can still avoid the fence and get some nice rotation shots, was it a stop over on the way to RIAT again?
