thanks Guys I seemed to be in the right place at the right time and glad I stayed where i was and not went further down and glad my 100-400 has been fixed as it would have been over exposing everything. All I saw was World of TUI is that its name?

Thanks Guys. its the first time in ages i have been there just to take pictures. Usually i pass there on my way into london. quite pleased with the results myself especially the 100 400 after it has been repaired. its a lot better.

this was taken in September 1987 when they brought it to manchester to bring the polish philharmonic orchestra to play at the free trade hall in manchester

So did I, every airport i went to got raided, the best ones came from Heathrow i thought. I noticed the Aviaco DC-9, I went to Majorca on one of them, my first ever fight and it was delayed by 3 hours.

yes i was one of them! when the terraces shut i used to go to level 9 on the car park and stand next to the heater just to keep warm in the vain hope something interesting flew in, which on a winters day was nigh on impossible!! Please keep the pictures going as there in front of me a misspent youth...

Great shots!!! i seem to remember a Denver ports of call 707 there too also that inertcontinental Dc8 had a little mishap when part if its wing fell off and had to make an emergency landing at manchester , it was patched up and went to Stansted to meet his maker!!

Skud those pictures sent me way back to those weekends either freezing or sweltering on the Terraces, just to see the same rubbish every time, funny though if we had half of those now it would be a different story. i flew on the Laker Dc10 when the Air europe 737 went tech, it parked next to the War...
