AN-225 at EMA

Went down to EMA with Ben and Dan to catch the AN-225 arrival. After it was delayed for a couple of hours it finally arrived. Re: A380 MSN004 (F-WWDD) visits Filton

Cheers.

No, as far as I know there are only 2 'Airbus' A380s. MSN001 (F-WWOW) and MSN004 (F-WWDD). MSN002 (F-WXXL) has been in Airbus colours but that is now owned by Prince Al-Walid. And to answer your other question, yes they do test flights for various things.

A380 MSN004 (F-WWDD) visits Filton

On Friday A380 MSN004 arrived at Filton for some testing. I had just finished work and went to the end of the runway to see it come in. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8204/8218774400_42fdcc5463_o.jpg MSN004 01 by Phill Loughlin , on Flickr http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8477/8217691279_a71bd129fd_o.jp...

I agree, very interesting. Just wondering, would you need a twin engine rating for the Cri Cri?

Re: Finally caught A6-EYE at Manchester

Cheers mate, A6-AFA is added to the list. I can post saying where it is going daily if you want. The lens I use is the sigma 150-500mm. That last one is a reasonably tight crop, the uncropped photo goes back to the 't' in Manchester.

Finally caught A6-EYE at Manchester

I saw on my planefinder app that A6-EYE was coming in to Manchester. Even though the weather wasn't looking too good I decided to go because I'm back in Loughborough on Friday and won't get another chance for a long while. As it turned out the weather wasn't too bad but in typical fashion the sun we...

F1 charter B748 at EMA

Quick morning trip to EMA to get the B748 that was due in. As usual with Cargo aircraft at EMA it caught me off guard and so the arrival shots were taken from next to the car just as we had jumped out. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7186/6976482307_b68e2db850_b.jpg EMA 01 by phillip_loughlin , on Fli...

Cheers guys! Yep I'm pretty chuffed with the new camera, although the real test will come when the conditions aren't ideal, but I think it will be fine.

East Mids 23/2

I took the plunge and purchased a D300s with a Sigma 150-500 lens and couldn't wait to try them out. The weather yesterday afternoon was too good to resist and I spent an afternoon at EMA trying my new equipment. Here are the results, Some of them are a bit samey but then East Mids doesn't have the ...

Great shots! Not in for its repaint is it? The tour is finished and they repainted the first one reasonably soon after... Where is it parked as I might go and get a couple of shots.
