Re: Loach 011 & Friends

I agree it would indeed be great to see them around a few more shows, I understand the operating costs are predictably large though!

G-ENVO @ Barton 24-11-2012

Hi All Bolkow 105 G-ENVO dropped into Barton this evening for some fuel, after a quick dash out the house we managed to get there for it departing in some very dark conditions! At least it departed before most of the rain arrived! :thumb: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8477/8214527756_643d067838_b.jp...

Hi SimFlyer

Interesting place to preserve an aircraft! Can't say I've seen a picture of that one before :)

Nice selection of twins there! G-OART is particularly smart, it was in Barton a couple of months ago & it surprised me with how STOL it is :thumb:

Re: Loach 011 & Friends

Hi Steve, they've got a superb little collection going there! As you say great to see them out of the US :thumb: Reggie, sorry to hear that you couldn't make it (we did give you a ring to try to find where you were so that'll explain the strange phone-number!). The Cobra is still in the US but they'...

Loach 011 & Friends

Hi All A fantastic tour of the http://www.Huey.co.uk facility near Blackpool today. A great chance to properly look around some rare but very interesting helicopters which are still airworthy. They fired up the Loach in the afternoon & went for a little jolly around the block, what a fantastic photo...

Re: N7NP MD500 Barton 23SEP12

Reggie, I agree! The new 'pointy' Hughes 389's look a lot better on high skids & the old 'round' 369's on lower skids! N7NP actually used to be on high skids, seen here by myself at Waddington Airshow..... http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8284/7734065464_f75accc58d_b.jpg N7NP by QSY on-route , on Flickr
