Problem with scanning slides
I have been trying to scan some old slides using a Nikon Coolscan IV ED. I’ve had it for years but haven’t used it for a while and hence the skills are somewhat rusty to say the least ! The original slides are of good quality and taken in full sun etc. but on scanning and putting them into Photoshop...

Hi Andy, Probably way too late but I had the same thing a few months ago. My PC stopped recognising the external hard drive overnight. I then tried attaching it to other laptops in the house (ie the kids’ !) and found that it was recognised by one of them but not another two. I was then able to copy...

Olympic VIP's
Anyone know when the bulk of the VIP's will be arriving for the Olympics and where ? I assume they will be spread all over the South East airports and either the day before or day of both the opening and closing ceremonies ?

Last 2 weeks it's arrived at the more reasonable time of approx 0945 hrs local BUT I've heard that this weeks is due at midnight ! Stays most of the day, so you'll see it OK but photos will be more tricky.
