A wonderful post.
I particularly love the Dove that I fondly remember as being one in the CAA fleet conducting regular ILS approaches at Bournemouth Hurn in the 70's.
Thanks for sharing your super captures
Ah, the memories!
The 70's was my era when would join the masses on the Queens Building rooftop and twist between both parallel runways and try to pole of the bizjets over by the Fields hangar.
Thanks for sharing your super captures and creating fond memories
Lovely! I used to go to LGW just to see the variety of Bizjets and props; I would spend a week at LHR sleeping in one of the terminals at night (when you could get away with it), then catch a bus to LGW and Redhill before returning to LHR. A very nice post!
Lovely to see the old 'Bealine' livery again on the Heron; it took me right back to the 60's and 70's.
Thanks for sharing your superb captures
Fabulous!
I remember seeing that old C-121A at Cosford in 1998 and again at a later RIAT.
Connies are one of my old time favourites so thanks for sharing your superb pics
