A few EGPD movements from the last few weeks before LOCKDOWN
Hi, It's been a while since I've posted here, but glad to see the community still alive a kicking  Enjoy a few of my most recent snaps from Aberdeen/Dyce before the COVID-19 lockdown. Air Iceland DH8D ABZ(old news, finally managed to catch it!)
Finally managed to catch this when I was out at Aberdeen / Dyce for the C17 yesterday - it's either been on the ground or not around when I've had the (very limited these days!) time to get some pictures. https://c6.staticflickr.com/8/7332/27172067621_743d3d97f6_n.jpg Air Iceland Dash 8 Q400 TF-FXI ...

Icelandic Coastguard DH8C at Aberdeen
A very miserable day yesterday, must've changed my mind about going to get this one about 8 times before I eventually went. I stayed in the car until the last minute to save me getting soaked. Best picture I got, a couple of crows decided to get between me and the plane and spoiled the rest :grr: I ...

A few SAR birds and other local action today at Dyce
Testing out my new lens, AF-S NIKKOR 80–400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR out at the local, I've been out a few times but I was inspired today to take some helo action and was lucky to see "Bond 1" arrive shortly after I turned up and "Bristow Rescue 1" depart about 20mins later. https://farm1.staticflickr.com...

Re: Managed to catch some wing vapor on FlyBe Dash8
Thanks for the comments folks, probably my favourite picture I've taken yet, and it's certainly my most popular on Flickr (2100+views). It's all the days that I go out there taking 100s of pics that just get deleted or forgotten about just to get some quiet time that are practice for shots just like...

Wasn't sure what size to post, some people/forums complain due to low bandwidth/mobile users!

Managed to catch some wing vapor on FlyBe Dash8
T'was a bit soggy a week ago at EGPD Aberdeen/Dyce, but I still went out as I was getting cabin fever. I enjoy being in the rain as long as I'm not getting soaked so I donned my mountaineering waterproofs and headed to the local. There wasn't any unusual visitors at the time I was there, but I hung ...

Where's the Bond Ramp shot taken from? Looks through the fence near the new Bond Terminal?

Scottish Air Ambulance Service's King Air @ Dyce
Last night I took a group of cadets to the Scottish Air Ambulance Service's hangar in Dyce, Aberdeen, for them to get shown around the aircraft and to have a chance to speak to the pilots and paramedics to get their own perspective view's on the job. They were shown the Ops room and got shown around...

Re: Summer came and went for Scotland..
That 737-8 is really Nice Mark
That a one off test or do you know if it's going to be a semi-regular thing?
I ned to get myself back to Dyce - been a while since I changed bodies and now I've got a 70-300 again!
