Re: AN 225 due EMA 12/6/14
Hopefully someone can correct me, but there doesn't seem to have been any sign of this leaving Riga yet?

"Miracle on the Hudson"
I've only done a quick edit, but one of the highlights of the Carolinas Aviation Museum was the A320 that landed in the Hudson.

Re: Photo of the Month, October 2011.
More of a test of my new 7D than anything else, I finally got around to look at them tonight (too busy designing Gas Turbines for photography at the moment
)

Yep, it's correct that the Vulcan is due to attend, but will be arriving on the Saturday and departing after close of play on Sunday.

DC8 must have departed during the night, or early morning. AN-124 was still here and no activity as of 5 minutes ago.

Re: DUE EMA 19/03
Had an email from the pilot of the An-124 telling me it was due in - very odd as I've never heard of the guy before, contacted me through A.net.
Seems the info tallies up though!

An-124 RA-82078
Wasn't able to log on via my phone, but the above (Volga-Dnepr) arrived at EMA this morning, and was still being loaded up when I left about 4:30 this evening.
Typical that I was stuck inside the Buccaneer when she arrived!
She is also sporting big orange "20 Years" titles on the side, rather smart!

Re: IL76 this morning
As of 5PM, the An-124 was still there - kept an eye on it all day from the Aeropark, and she offloaded something, was refuelled and then all closed up.
Rumour going round is that the box that was offloaded contained the wrecked engine from the Qantas A380.
