HUY 5th October Beechcraft King Air 90
Couple of shots of King Air C90EX G-VBCD at Humberside this afternoon. Love the Beechcraft logo on the fin. http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i467/350biker/emDSCF4868_zps6f8b23e6.jpg http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i467/350biker/emDSCF4870_zps14c71889.jpg Just to show I do get prop blur someti...

Goodwood Revival Race Meeting - JU52's
Not often you get to see two JU52's in civil markings at the same event. One in pre-war Lufthansa colours and one Swiss registered sponsored by a company that makes luggage with the same corrugations! http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i467/350biker/52IMG_2693_zpse99dfd4a.jpg http://i1095.photobuck...

Nice pics, love the Beechcraft range and haven't seen a Travelair for ages. Must be quite rare now.

Re: Humberside collection.
Noryport - no the bike engines stay with the bikes, I rely on Mr Lycoming and Mr Continental for my airborne power! Rich - nice collection once again. I think a lot of our generation started on BSA Bantams, happy memories of my 1956 150 cc version. Looking forward to getting the 1949 rigid (ie no re...

Re: Humberside collection.
Noryport Thanks for your comments. There are some on these forum's who get very uppety when someone corrects or adds to their comments. As you say it's often nice to speculate who came in on all these anonymous biz-jets - there are few in corporate livery these days. With regard to my handle yes I d...

Re: Humberside collection.
Noryport - just a quick slight amendment to your comment about the oil refinery on the Humber bank. There are actually two refineries side by side. One owned by Total, the French company and one owned by Phillips 66 (formerly Conoco) of the USA. I am a pensioner from the Total one (known as LOR - Li...

Re: New Bond AW139 G-VINC @ Norwich.
Nice shots of a very photogenic airframe. Is it using the Bond 11 callsign? If so will have to listen out for him at Humberside. We have had the other 4 red ones in on rotation.

Re: Air Manitoba Curtis C46's from 1989
Apologies if you are aware but for Keith in particular. The Commemorative Air Force at Camarillo. Ca, have (I believe still in present tense) a flying C46 which you can have a guided tour of if it's not away on air show duty. Few dollars gets you on board with a guide. Possibly your best chance of u...

Re: Old heliport Beccles
Nice pics noryport. The RR badge is probably genuine as for a period RR built a range of smaller Continental engines which this aircraft is fitted with. As a C150 driver (and C172/PA28) I can but suggest you to try one, they are good fun and a good training aircraft. I did all my training on them an...

This has to be N45CF that was at Waddo at the weekend. There can't be two Beech 18's that shiny in the UK!

Whenever I've been to Coningsby recently its been an Eastern Airways Jetstream 41 parked up for the day. Just had a look on the Coningsby website and they dont seem to merit a mention amongst all the miltary stuff. So right airline anyway!

Air Britain Fly-In - North Weald June 2003
Andygolfer asked about pictures of the two C54's seen at North Weald this weekend when they were in a better state. Here are some of my shots of them at the same fly-in weekend in 2003. They were obviously in much better state then. Having reviewed my pics of the weekend there are many of the same a...

Re: Air Britain fly in - North Weald, 9-6-2012, part 1
I had the pleasure of flying in to the June 2003 "do" in my friends Jodel. The C54's were in quite good and shiny state then. Will post some pics later. We had a good round trip that weekend (from Manchester Barton) via Cambridge, Earls Colne and Southend, then home on the Sunday via Fenland and the...

Tenerife - April 2012
Spent a very pleasant week last week in Tenerife while it was raining in the UK. SWMBO very tolerantly allowed me to spend some time watching the planes. Unfortunately they mainly seemed to be Thomson, Ryanair, Jet2 and Easyjet while I was watching but the ADAC Air Ambulance was a nice surprise. All...
