Shanghai Hongqiao 2009
During one of my trips to China I had a couple of days free time to discover the wonderful sights of Shanghai, this of course meant a trip over to Shanghai Hongqiao airport as I only ever got to stay at Pudong. I followed the various spotting reports and booked myself into the Hong Gang hotel, reque...

Was going through some old snaps I took from many moons back, what is really poignant is that the vast majority cant be seen anymore. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50445669151_6a80f59abd_h.jpg Untitled by Rob Burns , on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50445844017_7d760bab0e_h.jpg Un...

Re: Olev Antonov Museum Kyiv, Ukraine.
Hi all, I did try and put them in Fighter Control, but it said the height was too much, it was actually by accident I put them on Civil spotters. Does FC have different restrictions ?? Cheers Rob Hi Rob, FC has exactly the same restrictions on image size and you should be able to post the military ...

Olev Antonov Museum Kyiv, Ukraine.
Had a couple of days meetings in Kyiv resulting in a morning to myself, so up early and a taxi too the museum resulted in the following being seen. Quality not the best as I only had my point and shoot with me as I couldn't really be lugging my proper gear round Kyiv meetings for two days. https://l...

Think it might be easier if you tell us what you saw and we can tie up.jmhenderson wrote:Could anyone advise me what aircraft would have been visible from 20,000+' at about 10:00 that morning, please.

Re: French rugby airlift 20th-23rd February
Hi Bob, Being a regular Manchester spotter I completely agree, the difference is that in Manchester a car of 5 people would still only be £12, for 5 of us (2 kids) at Cardiff was a stunning £75 !!! Throw into the mix that two of these had come along just as I am there dad its disgusting. What I didn...

Re: French rugby airlift 20th-23rd February
Turned up this morning as I do every couple of years only to be told that entrance to the Flying club Cafe was £15 per person !! This might have included lunch but with two kids with me I wasn't paying £45 !! Exploitation does not come Into it, the number of people they missed out on buying food mus...

Log Mumbai 15/06/12
The following log was taken between 0800 and 0900, 1400 hrs and 1730 hrs and 1830 and 2100 hrs, local meetings had to be cancelled due to rolling blackouts, this resulted in me having to work from my hotel room :-) I have tried not to duplicate aircraft seen the previous day so that you can get some...
