Another couple of poor shots, but they record the arrival and departure of the very last Comet at Edinburgh. It was a Comet 4B. It was flown out empty to be scrapped at Lasham by Captains Bob Balls and Phil Bresters (I wonder why I never forgot that loadsheet....??). They were a couple of mavericks ...

It was too big for any Stands, so they parked it on the threshold of r/w 13 and bussed in and out the pax.
