Problem solved. A close up inspection of the Douglas on the left reveals the inscription 'SCAN CHURCH AID'. This was carried by a Sterling DC-6B OY-BAV.

Apparently the Convair 440 is SE-BSS and the DC-7 on the right is OY-DMT (ex Conair). I am unsure about the DC-7 on the left but think it could be ex SAS. Photos taken in August 1985.

I logged an Antonov An-124 North of Scarborough, North Yorkshire at altitude (contrailing) flying East-West on an Atlantic crossing track on 17th January 2016 at 12:30 hours GMT. I believe that the carrier was probably Volga. Does anyone have this in their records at all (probably from radar trackin...
