Re: 737 variants -100 to -900

The 737 is one of my favourites My two worst moments (aviation wise) have involved the 737 January 8, 1989 when driving the truck up the M1 at Kegworth I actually watched the BMI 737 (G-OBME) come down infront of me....the sights and smells of that night will never leave me for as long as I live And...

Take the wings off the 350 (and the Boeing equivalent 787) and you have a fuselage incredibly close in design to the venerable Comet

Re: Boeing 707

What a fabulous aircraft the 707 was. When I think back to the variety of aircraft that I used to see at Manchester and especially Heathrow it makes me long for time travel! As an aside the Air Canada looks like a DC8? I don't remember Air Canada having 707s? It has the teddybear smiling snout, so ...

That is OK then

The photos of her bum in the air and her snout in the grass did give the perception of another problem with her, its good that she is undamaged....a great relief to all concerned who have followed her progress

Absolutely lovely seeing them...I have many happy memories of going to every show there when I lived in Bedford many moons ago...Grosvenor House looks beautiful as always, even with her cowlings off....brilliant memories brought back to life :)
