Re: Proposed changes to photography military photo rules

Hello Kyle Sorry that explains merely that the operators (presumably the same people) of all 3 sites, are posting the same 'Aero Resource' articles on all 3 sites. Aero Resource as your snippet informs us , doesn't differentiate between 'civil' and 'military', which is fine, I don't use it for exact...

Re: Proposed changes to photography military photo rules

Afternoon
I trust having come to a reasonable decision, you are now going to apply the same rule to the Aero Resource articles.
7 (minimum) out of the last 10 articles have been blatant military reports, not having read them I can't say if there was 10% civil content or not.

Courtroom drama

A seven year old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with the child custody law and regulations...

Re: Cessna P210

Hi The Cessna's without the brace from fuselage to wings are known a s 'cantilever' This seems to be a recent conversion to turbine as the FAA register entry shows the engine as reciprocatiing i.e. piston. Most Cessna turbine conversions are for parachuting use, so not pressurised, as the 'P' and ro...

Re: Proposed changes to photography military photo rules

Hi Andrew, Have a look at the banner across the top of the page...CIVILIAN AVIATION, there should be no mention of military, there are plenty of dedicated sites for them. Home to the civil aviation enthusiast, there should be no mention of military here either.... Perhaps you can't see the civil woo...

Re: PH-LNH Maybe last Movement ?

Hi Fokkers are usually stored/dismantled at either Maastrict or Woensdrecht, but if KL/an affiliate are starting up it may well be at Norwich. Seems crazy to me there are old propliners still trundling around in South America and they are breaking 15 year old a/c for parts in the deserts of the U.S....

Re: Proposed changes to photography military photo rules

Hi I am back again........ Some opinions first........ If you wanted to know how to make the site more user friendly, then that was what you should have asked. You are asking should you allow people to post pics of military aircraft, doesn't matter how you word it, that is what you have asked... WHY...

Re: Old Buck

Thanks for the thought JB, but I'm afraid the RME really isn't in the same league, 1.5 or 2.5 can't tell the difference myself. As for the Roller sorry not a fan, especially of a Roller 'station wagon' :( , whatever next ? Off to a microlite meet at Popham tomorrow. If the wife won the lottery I wou...

Epitaph of an Oxo worker

Her lies the body of electrician Joe
Died when he fell through the hole in an O
Lived his life for worse or for better
Went as he came,
through a hole in a letter.

Re: A109 G-JTHU in the Barton Murk

I think the choice of paint is part of this Rat /Grunge fad, that certain sections of the community favour.
They take an item (usually an expensive BMW type one) then make it look like rats droppings.
Check out Rat rods in the U.S.
Enjoy it (sic) while it lasts.

Re: Oaksey Park 18/08/2012

Hi Goose
It's not hard to find :) , go into the village and there is a 5 way crossroads, take the 'dead end' signposted one.
It's half a mile or so along a tarmac road (tree-lined avenue), then fork right near the house and round to the farmyard and that's it !

'Warm 'copters, Goa

Hi on our annual Goan holiday this year a mere 3,. We stay about 5 kms from the only public helipad in Goa and they usually approach over the appartment , so I potter off & get clicking. http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s619/Alsoterry/Indian%20helos/Dscf3698IMP.jpg Hindustan Construction Co. http...
