Existing Airlines no longer seen in UK
It’s popular on here to see pictures of airlines no longer in existence (Gone bust or merged). My mind turned to those airlines still around, but no longer seen on regular services to the UK (Unprofitable, political or war). For the reg collector, there was that excitement of seeing a rarer reg pref...

Charlwood Gatwick Aviation Museum
A visit to the museum adjacent to Gatwick. Small but friendly with knowledgeable volunteers. Interesting history of the airport, simple little café and gift shop. For the civil enthusiast, history includes airlines such as Dan-Air, Caledonian, Monarch etc. Far end of the field has small seated area ...

Re: PH-ZBJ Heathrow
Thanks all.
Yes, Queens Roof Gardens must be where many of us got hooked.
Wish I had a decent camera sooner.
Ignoring some of the regulars, then thinking - gosh they are gone.

A murky Biggin Hill today. Most interesting bizjet was this from Argentina. The most interesting aircraft I was unable to photo. A Kawasaki KV107 of HeliSwiss N185CH. Up from Lydd, stopped before going North for a heavylift job. (Nice picture of it over on UK Airshow Review). Pete. https://live.stat...

Super pictures Andy.
What a difference with a bit of decent weather. It's been so grey this year.
Cheers.

Heritage Hangar - Biggin Hill
I recently had a gift of a Hangar Tour at the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar. With a knowledgeable guide, it’s an enjoyable experience. You can photograph as much as you like, though there may be a specific restriction for one aircraft. Things are packed in the space, so not necessarily clear shots. A ...
