Re: A collection from Dublin
Nice shots, have you tried Ikea at the City and the old Killead Road at the International, very little walking involved :D Paul Oh yes, they're my usual spots! And the bridge at the Sydenham Bypass! Can we still get up to the top deck of the car park now that airport parking place has closed? Haven...

Re: A collection from Dublin
I've only ever photographed at Dublin and the 2 Belfast airports. Dublin well worth a visit, lots of easily accessible places, very close to the runways, though a stepladder is helpful at one or two of them. Belfast City doesn't have a huge range of stuff but two good spots to shoot from, very clos...

Re: London City over the New Year
These are fab, especially loving the second one and the 4th. I'm actually flying here in April for the first time. How much of a faff would it be to get shots like this? This isn't a trip for photography or faffing but if I could pack a minimum of gear and not spend all day faffing around I'd be sor...

I'm overdue a Dublin visit! Bloody great shots, that Aer Lingus retro shot. :o :thumb: The Emirates 777 head in shot is great too! I've only ever photographed at Dublin and the 2 Belfast airports. A collection from Dublin
Hi, I thought I'd share a few of my Dublin pics, with a Belfast one thrown in for good measure. :P (Really must get round to labelling them correctly too! Just noticed that!) https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1525/23878190613_d465435363_b.jpg Ryanair 737 by Donna Rowley , on Flickr https://farm...

Re: Todays (13/10/15) A-380 into Manchester
Very nice indeed. I'm a bit jealous, we don't have anything that big flying near me. (Well, unless you count a once weekly for about 6 weeks 747 )
OH has promised me a spotting trip to Manchester for my birthday so really looking forward to seeing some "different" stuff there!

Re: rugby world cup
Can I suggest you switch allegiance (temporarily of course) to the boys in green?! Ireland (North and South) have been kicking ass and taking names in football this week and the whole island is on a bit of a high. It's nearly time for the boys with odd shaped balls to do their bit but they're...

What about really broad categories (but perhaps specifying it must be a plane in flight/on the ground) "Blue" So perhaps you'll get blue liveries, Stunning blue skies, or maybe something else a bit different. Different colours available obviously! :P "Sun" - maybe sunrise or sunset shots, silhouette...

Re: can we have more comments on photos please?
I'm new here so I thought I'd chip in. Sometimes I post on various forums to start a conversation every bit as much as to get feedback on the image itself. It can be more of a social thing for me than a photography thing. Therefore when I post something and no one comments it's kinda like saying "hi...

A little bit of Discovery
Had a great day out at the Udvar Hazy Museum earlier in the year. Finally getting around to posting a few pics on Flickr, thought I'd share.

Re: This is why I don't upload photos to Airliners.net
I had several (ultimately fairly depressing) efforts at trying to get photos accepted on there and then gave up. The photos around here are much nicer anyway, who needs Airliners.net!

I think I might just sell my soul to the devil for the chance to get a few shots of that thing!
