Re: Super Pumas galore at Dyce + Bonus
Hi Jonay I believe the grey & white S92's have been leased from Cougar Helicopters of Canada to cover a shortfall in aircraft capacity. I think when new airframes are delivered to Bristows they are planned to go back to Canada. Cheers, There is only one S-92 based at Bristow Aberdeen, and it is ind...

Re: SR-61 Waterford Airport
Hi Bandit I think the helicopter is actually designated an S-61N, rather than SR-61. Not trying to be clever, just trying to help. Owned by CHC (ireland) I believe who were originally a Canadian company (hence the first "C" in the name), however I believe a couple of years ago they were bought by a ...

Re: puma at Blackpool
My pleasure!. The most obvious difference between the SA330 Puma and the AS332 Super Puma is the fuselage length, the Super Puma being much longer. The EC225 is a further technological development with uprated engines and a glass cockpit, five bladed main rotor and four bladed tail rotor and a much ...

It is indeed Loganair. They operate the aircraft on behalf of FlyBe, the white airframes are being progressively painted into the blue and white colours of FlyBe.

I just started a Bell 206 Jet Ranger, after not being near a kit for 20 years or more. Happy to post a few pics as I progress. Don't expect anything flash, I'm using this model as a "get-back-into-it-without-losing-too-much-sleep" exercise! :D The obligatory box photo....... http://i3.photobucket.co...
