TinTin at Manchester
Went out 30th March in the morning in the cold and the wind to catch Brussels Airlines OO-SNB TinTin livery - been waiting to see this one for quite some time with no luck but today :-) . Only stayed briefly as it was so cold but caught a few others as well. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/807/402373...

Manchester mud - 2nd Feb
Walked along the footpath by 05R to see the 4pm arrivals. The only downside - ankle deep in mud ! ! https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4740/25172360017_7408b3d9f1_b.jpg 20180202-0C6A3746.jpg by Mike Grundy , on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4674/39145629165_8f3e416a3c_b.jpg 20180202-0C6A3750.jpg...

Manchester Antonov AN-124 plus others
Went to the airport this morning to catch the departure of the AN-124. It was doing a quick turnaround ferrying parts to Stockholm for a stranded Thomas Cook Airbus A330 G-OMYT. It came in at 10am and left around 1230 (due 1200). I missed the arrival as had other things to do, but got there about an...

Re: Antonov AN-22 leaving Manchester 7th Dec
Thanks everyone for your kind comments. As an aside,, I walked back to the car after it left,,, a good 10-15 minutes walk and as I got into the car I could still hear it as it looped round the airport on it's way to Leipzig - noisy or what ! !

Nearly didn't make today as I was supposed to be looking after my Grandson, but Grandma let me off for a couple of hours. Frozen - Yes, Windy - Yes, Worth it - definitely. Manchester - cold, wet and miserable
The E-3D Sentry was due to leave Mcr yesterday at 1400 having had a new paint job so I decided that I'd go along to grab a few shots. Arrived in plenty of time despite the freezing cold wind and forecast of rain. All I got was frozen, wet and disappointed as it was a no show, but I did get these ins...

Cold day at Manchester
I actually went on Friday to see the E-3D Sentry which was scheduled to arrive around 12:00. All I got was frozen to the bone as it was a no-show. Rescheduled for 10:20 today (Sunday). It finally arrived at 11:40. I was frozen again as despite the sunshine the wind was icy, but the sunshine was a re...
