Hello, it's good to be back (Cardiff, French Lift 2020)

Afternoon all, after taking some time away from flickr I finally bit the bullet and took the pro option despite the protestation of my bank account. Also had some hairy moments with my camera lately, but for now at least we're back in full working order. I just need to clear the backlog now! As you ...

Re: 3 days in Frankfurt

An incredible place Frankfurt, the first place I'd recommend to anyone wanting a trip out somewhere.

That Thai 380 pic is a cracker especially given that the light must have been pretty dire at the time!

Autumn at St Athan

Hello all, As you may have seen it's been a busy few months down here at Saints, Cardiff Aviation have had a fair bit of work with Corendon, TUI and others, and eCube have been phenomenally busy bringing in all sorts of goodies. I'll start with the well publicised retirement of the BA 767s BZHA http...

Re: British Airways fleet departures 2013 onwards

1st November
4th November
7th November
26th November x 2

Is a purported schedule for B767 retirements I've seen outlined on various social media.

If so the 26th will be a fairly nostalgic day.

Bhutan Airlines St Athan 24/7/18

Afternoon all, Pretty special visitor for this part of the world today. Presumed for scrap but it did initially park outside Twin Peaks so perhaps not. Nice of them to keep the full scheme on it; https://farm1.staticflickr.com/942/42891923354_b5cd995199_k.jpg Bhutan Airlines Airbus A319-112 msn 1551...

Those green ospreys   Can see what you mean on one or two re. The focus but I'd still be happy to get shots of all of these. For the most part they're excellent pics and you nailed the stars of the show for sure. Air Force One is one of the last on my life list that I really want to ge...

Re: Flickr - my latest followers are rather interesting!

Yup I had about 10 favourites on one of my many poor, hazy record shots that I upload just for the sake of it sometimes, and surprise surprise they were all ladies with 0 posts. Have systematically blocked and reported each one - although I noticed at least three disappeared of their own volition - ...

Saw this on the Brize Facebook page and my jaw dropped. Have stood under the flightpath myself and a c130 worried me so god knows how I would have reacted if this happened!! Incredible shot!

Autumn in Wales (CWL & DGX) (pictures sorted)

Hi all, just a small summary of recent events in my corner of the country. Sadly I missed the best one of the lot, Cavok An12, as I was resting up on my sickbed. As they say, you can't get them all. Very jealous of some of the lovely movements I've seen on here of late and i'm glad to see the board ...
