Re: Covid casualties - British Airways B.747s at Kemble

Very sad to see. Back in January I did a little trip hoping to fly on an A340, A380 and a B747 from London to Dubai via Madrid. Iberia let me down replacing the A340 with an A330 but I managed to fly Emirates A380 from Madrid and then a few days later a BA B747 back to Heathrow. After what has happe...

The Virgin 747 arrived at Manchester yesterday. Another came in today and I believe there are now 6 in storage prior to meeting the scrap man.

Re: Manchester - A Few From 1985

Fabulous! I first visited Manchester with a group of school friends one sunny day in about 1977/78. Back then Canadian airlines in the shape of CP Air and Wardair filled international pier C. I can even remember seeing a MU-2 reg VH-MIT which was parked at the end of Pier B. Having experienced the l...

Re: Heathrow International Airport 14/16 Oct

Great set of pictures. I've worked a trip out early next year to hopefully fly on three aircraft types I've never been on. Those being the A340, A380 and B747 of Iberia, Emirates and BA. Seeing them all in your pictures has got me even more excited than I already was.

Great pics. Love the Phillipines A350. The A350 is a beautiful aircraft and much better than the Dreamliner imo.

The DHL Airbus is a great pic. The colours of the sky and clouds behind the aircraft makes the aircraft livery stand out superbly

So many great photos in that set that it's hard to pick one fave. Love the Korean A380 with the city backdrop and also the smoking landing shots.
