I was up there begining of July and found a spot off the road near the cargo area. Road in said no unauthorized vehicles beyond this point, so duly paid and parked at a pub car park a couple of hundred yards away. Popularity is due to the price. I stayed there in October £49.00, take the walkway to the Hilton a few hundred yards away and it was nearer £200.00. Competitive on price. Room was good, but it was new, hope they can maintain it with a high throughput.
