Great selection! Those China Eastern and Shangai Airlines liveries were great (the difference being the latter still have an interesting one!). The 767s and MD-90 look fantastic.

Wonderful to see airshow photos being posted again. It seems nobody has anything negative to say about the event, which is fantastic. Well done Shuttleworth.

Lovely shots LondonEye, especially the cargo one. Here's a couple from me, of the BOAC retro-jet with some friends at Fairford last year: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48356954547_db40b5d59d_h.jpg BOAC Retro-Jet with the Red Arrows by Nick Challoner , on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65...

Re: Stansted airport - a guide for visiting aviation enthusiasts

Information posted on the Stansted Google Group (credit James Slew) indicates that seven are parked northside and visible from the footpath from the Ash pub, one is in the Ryanair hangar, with four more arriving. So you may not get them all if you visit, but you'll see the majority of them.

Re: Back to the 90s at LHR/LGW

Again, a great selection of shots, bringing back fond memories. My favourite a/c among them is actually the Saudi 727-100 in the background of the KTHY MD-90 shot! Looks stunning in that Saudia livery (as pretty much everything did).

I'm sure I remember reading there were two different types of propellers fitted to Viscounts. I thought it was quite early in their service history though, not as late as your photos.

Re: Heathrow likely runway in use tomorrow (16-01-2020)

As you say, Heathrow prefer the 27s and will keep operating on them with up to a 5kt tailwind component. The relationship between relative wind angle and wind component is not linear (they are vector components for those that like maths!). This means that for winds that are 45 degrees from the direc...

The bright and sunny livery on this easyJet A319 about to be delivered to Allegiant was quite a contrast to the mist and snow one morning at Stansted in March 2018:
