Ascot Heliport, 20 June 2019

A selection from a busy day at Ascot back in June. Andygolfer has already comprehensively covered this event, and I was standing next to him, so some of these shots are similar to his. Many thanks Andy for your information on the viewing location. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48491265232_fffd...

Lovely and crisp despite the low shutter speed for the prop blur. Excellent work.

Beautiful! They still look slightly strange (but still impressive) with the high bypass engines, but something I'll get used to I'm sure.

How embarrassing  :D

Thanks for that shout Andy, I would have been most annoyed had I missed the IBE A350.

Re: Flickr flippin' useless this morning

I think an subscription extension for subscribers would be in order, although I'm not sure their cashflow would facilitate it. I've had issues uploading for the past two evenings, although I haven't tried today (been at a somewhat damp Stansted).

I noticed that too. Fixed now though.

There's been a marked improvement in the speed of the site since the move, which is very welcome.

Excellent shots, especially considering the low shutter speed clearly used. With its camouflage and pastoral background, the Proctor shot looks like it could have been taken during WWII.

Great photos. Shame you couldn't get to see more of the attendees, but two Beech 99s hopefully made up for that.
