RJ100 fuselage from Norwich to Teesside today : 5 May

An unidentified fuselage moved from storage at Norwich to Willis at Teesside Airport today and I wonder if anyone in east Anglia saw it road-running or reports of it doing so on local Facebook groups and who could possibly identify it for me please ? The fuselage of RJ100 C-FNWT , ex-Braathens , mad...

Re: Road Blocked??

I don't know that area very well but I visited the airport fire section earlier this month and the road beyond there does appear to be blocked by bollards but is still open for pedestrian access .
Hopefully someone local will confirm this ?

Goodbye DTVA , hello TIA !

Following a lengthy legal wrangle the airport name has returned to Teesside International Airport as the Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen delivers on another of his manifesto promises . Very good news although I'm sure the 'International' part of the title will be glossed over by many ! Local press rel...

Re: Zeppelin steering wheel

You might be better posting your enquiry on Key Aviation Forums as there are a lot of knowledgeable people on there who may be able to help and even trade aeronautical relics too .

Carlisle open again ?

Looking at ADS-B , PA-32 G-KNOW looks to have been 'bashing the circuit' for quite some time although now showing as departing to the south .
Is the airport open to aircraft again or are they allowing non-landing circuit's and activity ?

I'm a daily user of the Fighter Control forum and very much like the new forum format so well done to all involved in that , particularly Zymurgy661 who appears to be the IT guru . The 'Quick links' link is very user friendly and makes forum navigation very easy . I'm sure the Civilian Aviation foru...

Re: M3, two low loaders, Bristows colours

I replied to a similar post which appeared on the Airfields Group after I saw them travelling west bound on the M18 on Friday evening .
They were AW139s G-CHCV and G-SNSG which had been in storage in Humberside on their way to Fleetlands.
