Great picture. It is a new aircraft for SaxonAir, it was on it's first visit to Norwich.

The helicopter is still in the Saxon hangar, the 'new' body part didn't fit, so will be in for a few more days!!

Hi Keith,

The helicopter had the bird strike when it was flying over the show ground on the way to the airport. The pilot said it was lucky it did not hit the screen! It put a large hole in the aircraft and made alot of mess!!

Thanks for the comment The G-KLNP shot is my fav to. Caught it in the right position before it was put away in the hangar!

I think it will be alot cheaper to operate as jet a1 fuel is so much cheaper than avgas and there is a big performance improvement.

It had to visit on the day I wasn't at work!!

Reading up about this a/c, its unusual as its got a Rolls Royce Turbine engine instead of the standard 210 piston engine.
