Lanzarote - March 2023 (2)
I posted some images recently of the new Condor 'stripey' colour schemes taken whilst on holiday in Lanzarote. An upgrade to an oceanfront bungalow at Las Gaviotas was a great move on various levels. Here are some of the other aircraft seen whilst there and down on the beach near the airport. https:...

Condor moments - Lanzarote
Just returned from a couple of weeks in Lanzarote. Got an oceanfront bungalow at Las Gaviotas so great location for photography. My first experiences of the Condor 'flying deckchairs'. :D https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52759920622_f572893bd5_h.jpg DSC_7893 by Stephen Procter , on Flickr https:/...

Costa Rica Sloths
I have posted some aviation images elsewhere from my recent trip to Costa Rica but my camera and lens were packed really for the purpose of photographing some of the scenery and wildlife of this lovely country. Here are a few from my encounters with sloths.. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49619...

Matapalo Beach, Costa Rica
Whilst in Costa Rica we stayed at the excellent RIU Guanacaste hotel located on the beautiful Matapalo Beach. Some 45 minutes by coach from the airport we discovered quite quickly that flights inbound to Liberia Airport from the US and Canada started to make their final approach over the bay. If you...

Re: St Kitts Collection !
Passed through their (briefly) once when our flight from St.Maarten to Antigua stopped off. I use the word 'stopped' loosely as the aircraft just slowed to a very slow taxi, the rear door and stairs were out and the one disembarking passenger 'stepped off' like he was stepping off the rear platform ...

Believe it or not Neil, it is quite peaceful there (if you ignore the guy murdering Glen Campbell's 'Rhinestone Cowboy' in a bar across the way.) and you don't actually notice the aircraft after a while. Unless you choose to of course... :D Steve PS. Room 201 is equally as good (we stayed in there l...

Just returned from a week in Lanzarote. A few interesting visitors seen but this was the pick of the bunch. F-OIXG, LET L-410UVP of Air Guyane Express. Almost caught me by surprise as it suddenly popped up on Flightradar24 just a few miles out from the island. Enough time however, to grab the camera...
