Re: Nauru Airlines returns to Norwich

Another little gem for Norwich. Luckily for me I saw it there in 1994 as EC-FQB when it was with Air Europa.

Re: Hot at Norwich

That's a nice frame Mark and nicely caught too. I lost touch with Norwich and intended to visit to catch the last batch of stored airliners. Went last week but too late with just M-ABOU left now. I saw a total of 11 aircraft on the field which must be the fewest in over 40 years of visiting Norwich ...

Nice set - looks like the changes are working for you. I also made the same lens/converter swap for both quality and weight. Hope you enjoy the new kit.

Another couple from RAF Lakenheath 26/02/2024

Monday saw a couple of civilian airliners at RAF Lakenheath in support of a deployment Stateside. Despite being on runway 06 (I had hoped for 24 to get ground-taxi shots) I was pleased with the results from the viewing area. Unfortunately the clouds had rolled in for the 747's departure. Boeing 767 ...

Hi Marcus - sorry I cannot help with sightings but SX-AEJ does not seem to be correct. Nothing in PlaneBase database and no reference online that I can see.

Re: N234AX Omni Air B.767 Lakenheath 26-01-2024

Thanks Mike - not too bad 8 or 9 degrees and the right clothing :D. It has been colder out and about recently. A good hour or two and some exercise too - unlike the idiots who insist on parking on the verge which is a clearway on the main road.

N234AX Omni Air B.767 Lakenheath 26-01-2024

Living just a few minutes from RAF Lakenheath, and being a fine sunny day, I popped over to get this Omni Air International B.767. Worth the walk from the car park to get this and the afternoon returning based aircraft. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53489391736_4ee205425a_b.jpg N234AX_1 by Nig...

Re: waxwings - my first birding outing of 2024

Beautiful Andy! The last time I saw waxwings was several years ago on a lunchtime walk from work in Bury St Edmunds - without a camera! Would love to see some again (suitably equipped).

One of my favourite birds - very striking appearance.
