Re: London Heathrow Nikon D810 test 13-05-22 Part 1

Great set James - looks like the Sigma is working well - I use one on a Canon 6D. I find it does need good light - of which you had plenty! Good job - keep them coming please.

Re: Blackbushe 1st April 2022

Hi James - I was passing by and stopped a couple of weeks ago getting very similar shots to some of yours - except mine are not as good hence not posted! Anyway I can help with most of them with a little help from PlaneBase and Google cross-ref. Good results with the Sigma - I have the same albeit o...

Re: Heathrow 20-03-2022

Lovely set Andy - Heathrow traffic seems to change every time I look or pass by. Types, operators and colour schemes come and go so quickly it seems. Must be an age thing I guess!

Hi Ben and welcome. Have you tried

Archives going back decades but with varying degrees of detail.

Incidentally how do you go back to 2011 in Planefinder? I can only go back to 2019 - do have a login. Or is it as a contributor?

Glad to help. Sorry I cannot recall exactly but I think you can go back somewhere around 15 months but trial and error will tell. Have fun!

Re: Are all you drivers ready for the Highway Code changes?

Totally agree Mike. I foresee a lot of hold-ups and potential collisons - opening for deliberate blame-claims probably. My wife and I both drive and cycle (usually off road where possible) so appreciate both from the other perspective. Riding two-abreat and further into the road is just ridiculous a...

I would be happy with those Andy - you can't beat a clear blue sky as a backdrop. Love the moon shot in paricular.
