If it wasn't for that terrace I doubt I would have gone so interested in airliners. I wonder how much more popular our hobby would be if such facilties were the norm nowadays?

thanks. It wasn't bad but a lot were near to full zoom and when photographing from the Brewery field there was a lot of heat haze over the corn stubble under the approach. That was one reason why I moved back to the community centre, I also was able to get more variety of angles and with the sun on ...

The police opened the Aerozone for our monthly Planewatch morning on Wednesday and coupled it with a 7am start to enable us to see some early departures and also beat the heat haze which it thankfully did. It was extra handy as by 11am it was starting to cloud up a bit. Here are some of my efforts.....
