Thanks for the kind comments everyone.
For info they were taken from the mound just north of Stanwell Moor which is shown on my Heathrow photography guide on the 27R departures section, excellent spot!

Heathrow 02-12-2019
I spent Monday morning at Heathrow after taking my neighbour to catch SIA318 to Singapore, superb light but very cold, fairly standard stuff but still enjoyable catching 27R departures for 5 hours, here's a selection; I love the Landor scheme!... https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49174624353_9f8bd...

Re: Stansted from the Aerozone 03-12-2019
thanks Denis and all - yes it was extremely cold but still worth it for the selection that visited.
I've just got a backlog of photos to go through now as I was at Heathrow on Monday as well ( and almost as cold!)

Stansted from the Aerozone 03-12-2019
we had a special Planewatch event at the Aerozone today to allow us to see the arrivals for the NATO summit in London today and tomorrow. Thanks to the police for organising it. The American contingent arrived last night but nevertheless there was a regular flow of aircraft from other NATO countries...

Re: November 2019 photo of the month competition
Well I've only been out once so far and it's looking unlikely that I will manage anything this coming week so it will have to be something from my visit to Southend on 16th when I went to see Vulcan XL426, registered G-VJET strutting it's stuff - superb sight and noise, the first time I'd seen a Vul...

Re: SPOTM November 2019 - a displaying aircraft from a 2019 airshow
I didn't realise how few displays I went to this year until I started looking for an entry. must do better in 2020! This was taken at Little Gransden's annual show on the very hot August bank holiday weekend, Sea Fury G-INVN painted as WG655 coming round the bend https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...

Re: Southend 16-11-2019 incl Vulcan taxi run
Wow, nice set. :thumb: Didn't know the Vulcan is still flying. It's not flying (unfortunately) Wallie, it was just doing runs along the runway. It's not the one that was flying until 2015 either that was XH558 (G-VLCN) which now resides next to a sewage works at Doncaster and is unaccessible to the...

Southend 16-11-2019 incl Vulcan taxi run
I went to Southend yesterday to see Vulcan G-VJET (aka XL426) carry out it's first taxi run for a while - it was superb! The viewing location was also excellent for views of aircraft taxiing into the terminal and of course on the runway so it was an even better day! Starting with the other movements...

never mind the quality of the prints Philip, it's the quality of the content that is important on photos of this age and that content is superb - well found and thanks for sharing them
