Re: Bristol-Lulsgate - 14th Feb

very nice Neil, amazing how quickly it changed (for the better). we has similar problems in Essex early on Thursday, I had planned a bit of a trip out but that and the M.11 being closed made me change plans and it was just a short trip to Stansted instead. The light on those is really nice and the b...

Re: SPOTM February 2019 - Jumbo Jubilee - 50 years of the mighty Boeing 747

(maybe we should have a special award for the earliest photo :D). For now I've gone for something far newer, S...

Stansted 11-02-2019

I popped over this morning to catch the Wideroe DHC.8 as I'd yet to get a pic of one and also the Pobeda 737 which was a first timer for STN. The letter foiled my as they switched runways as it was coming in and it got round to the 04 approach faster than I could so I missed that. The Wideroe was ab...

Martin (and anyone else who is interested) I checked with Nigel Kemp from Air Britain (Stansted) who was with me and knows the owners quite well and he confirmed the owner and other aircraft as follows: Andy Civilian Av question last post. Is N111GW owned by a Titan airlines pilot, the colour scheme is very similar?

Martin
I believe so Martin and from memory there was another in similar colours near it but not clearly photographable. I'll see if I can find out for you

January photo competitions

A reminder for you all that entries for the January competitions close at 23.59 on the 7th.

For POTM the photo has to be taken in January but if you photograph a nice Flybe today or tomorrow (or Thursday) that can be entered as it does not have to be taken in the month of the competition.

he's so modest! what Nick hasn't mentioned is that he took a photo of this aircraft when registered G-HFCA (also at Rayne) and he got 3rd place in SPOTM with it back in February 2015. As well as that it is the header photo on the UK Light Aviation Enthusiasts google group which he and I run so he's ...
