After waiting for months to capture the olympic arrivals in my usual spot on 22 finals the wind decided to swing aroung, rather than attempt the scrum and parking nightmares I decided to take a few shots from my parents back garden...... "KD" left Luton at around 0930hrs yesterday and a work party followed her up to remove engines and the APU,

"KC" will be following next week sometime! I will update when I know dates and times!

Hi there, I would think that the restart and run on the other side of the airfield was a maximum power assurance run on her engines before removal? this is standard practice if the engines are being sold on! I have some colleagues up there removing the engines and APU yesterday and today off the Eas...
