What's the story of this chopper? Has it been damaged?

Hi Ian

Sterling helicopters are in Liquidation http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-14418516. As such the EAAA has signed a new contract for the supply of their aircraft with Bond Air Services & all of Sterling's owned aircraft are currently stored at Norwich.

it was going to Cardif for maintenance, to get it into flying condition. Its been stored at Saxonair at Norwich Airport for a while now as the operator of the helicopter went under. There are seven more heli's in storage at the moment. I thought someone would catch the heli on the road, you can't miss it !

Steve..Ps I got this info from another site and stuck it on to shed some light :ninja:  :D

Hi jb, sorry for late reply. That pic of G-RESC is great, good to see it in better times. At least it should be airbourne again soon  Its a shame that some of the other heli's in storage won't fly again.

Oh I thought that news looked familiar ! :D

Hi Steve,

Thought you might recognise the explanation.

I will look out for my old heli disc and try and put a better shot of G-RESC on.

Glad it will fly again soon. :thumb:

Cheers..JB
