Following on from Fantasy of Flight see following three visits to MCO from my trip just in case you are heading that way this year- plus warning re security etc
Well Thursday 19th September dawned- alarm went off up showered dressed and taxi picked myself and Jan up bang on time to take us to MCR for our well needed 3 week holday (break) in Orlando.
Arrived at the airport booked in at the the Virgin Premier desk- seats already booked and went through security straight away- duty free visited then a bite to eat and a couple of beers consumed, whilst we waited for our VS75 11:00 flight to MCO.
Nice surprise although did not need it was Luftie A380 D-AIMG - also seen were:
A6-ENJ, LN-TUH, F-HEPC, LN-RPB, 9V-SWE and still need to id a CRJ of SAS and a Gulf 5 and a C560 at Ocean sky as we taxied out at 11:00.
9 hours twenty minutes later well fed and free drinks later arrived at the gate at MCO in our ride G-VKSS A330.
Off the plane first and through security in 5 minutes (excellent).Then down to transportation to get our shuttle bus to our hotel for the holiday the Wyndham LBV.
Nothing much seen on arriving- in fact nothing logged except for the B52 gate guardian as we left.
Jan and I had agreed that we would do 3 days parks then I could go to the airport and she would either relax around the pool or go shopping. Anyway first trip to MCO- on Monday 23rd September 2013. I have logged everything seen to give those who are contemplating visiting a feel of what you may see.
Arrived at MCO went to GOAA (Greater Orlando Aviation Authority) which is situated next to Starbucks, to get my Use of Facilities form. If you go to MCO make sure you go to the latter and get the form, as security is the tightest I have known it during my six previousvisits to Orlando.(Was paid hourly visits by security). Also make sure you have your passport with you.

Not a bad log SW had reduced in numbers from previous years and Jet Blue had increased quite a lot.
