Hi all!!
As most of you will know I look after the FC Model Section. I have been asked to have a look at this section and see what I can do with it
Is there anything you would like to see, have removed or want?
Let me know and I am sure we can accomodate you in someway
Did you know that registration to Civilian Aviation is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Re: CA Modelling Section
Hi.
Never mind about the present. How about the old days, lets have a reminisce of the old model kits. Open the the box and out comes bits of wood, roughly shaped. No cockpit covers, you had to make them. No plastic then, imagine having to make the exhaust manifolds for a Spit or a hurricane. I've done it! I built my first model in 1940! Lets hear from the oldies of my time!

Not quite as old as Canberra man but limited kit choice and cutting out sections to replace them with blocks of balsa which were then carved and sanded to profile to form the variant wanted...
