Re: LAA Rally Sywell 1-Sep-18
I do recognise some regulars in that excellent selection of shots; not least SE-XIP which I have a photo of, in the same scheme, from the 1990 PFA Rally at Cranfield!
Re: LAA Rally Sywell 1-Sep-18
First Rally I have missed for a number of years apart from when they stopped same- chose to go to the match instead -wished I had gone to the Rally after seeing your excellent pictures.
Happy Days

That's a very nice set of shots Pete, I used to love going to the PFA Rallies at Sywell & Cranfield many moons ago.
Re: LAA Rally Sywell 1-Sep-18
Thanks everyone.
I wonder how far I have walked, up and down the lines of a/c over the years. It's nice to see latest kit builds, but I still favour the older types.
I never got around to attending until 1990 onwards.
Apart from Cranfield and Sywell, I recall, there have been rally's at Kemble and Wroughton.
I try not to get confused with the GVFWE events which I think were Abingdon, Hullavington and also Kemble.
Yes, you do recognise a few regulars. I first saw SE-XIP in 1990 !
There used to be a yellow Jodel D-EDOL that turned up at all the fly-ins. Funny what you can remember.
Pete.
