Biggin Hill Festival of Flight 19-8-17

Post by LondonEye » Mon Aug 21, 2017 4:36 pm

A nice day out. I believe the tickets were restricted to 15,000 each day, so I never felt it to be crowded. Static was not immense in number, but there were some nice items. In addition, a lot of the bizjets were out, and you could get close to the aircraft for the flying display.
It's never going to be the Biggin of old, but hey, they are trying. Shame you cannot go poking round the hangars like years ago. Used to be fun seeing the odd interesting aircraft.
Weather was mixed, lighting strange at times.
With flying starting at 12.00, the morning saw business movements.
