I would have loved to have been there, I have a very large soft spot for the Beagle Pup. :)

Great aircraft, great shots and great weather. :thumb:

Lovely Pup/Bulldog shots. I too have a soft spot for them, not least because my first flight in a light a/c was in a Pup. We were having a look around Popham on Saturday evening after the Gazelle fly-in at Middle Wallop while a couple of Pups that had been at Turweston arrived home. I had a chat with one of the pilots, and like everybody else who has flown one he said how delightful they are to fly.

Thanks for the comments guys.
It was this or Middle Wallop. Shame both on same day. I look forward to seeing some pictures of the Gazelles.
Thanks,
Pete.

Many many years ago, 1982, at Cranfield I managed to bag a flight in G-AXIA
Lovely little beastie, along with an old Auster Beagle Terrier whose reg I cannot remember but was also based at Cranfield at the time
Was at the PFA rally, but back then I also used to go over to Cranfield every Saturday and spend the day there with Rogers
