Recent movements at Rhoose

Post by DaveSheffield » Fri Sep 14, 2012 11:10 am

Just a summary of a few of the interesting bits and bobs we've seen lately...

For the Belgians and their 3000 fans, we had OO-TCJ and OO-TCH of Thomas Cook Belgium, bringing the team in and taking them out respectively.
OO-JAF (Blue) and OO-JAM (Green) of Jetairfly brought a fraction of the supporters in.

A few diversions from a foggy Bristol on the morning of Saturday 8th, including Austrian Fk70 OE-LFL.

That Saturday also saw a few changes at BAMC - 777 G-YMMJ was replaced by G-VIIC, and in came 747 G-BNLO, out went G-BYGE - you can see a video of that departure here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/djwilliams1990/7976249828/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Of the others, PH-PIX was an interesting little Merlin, Global 5000 N678RC visited last week, and possibly current is ES-PVC, a little silver Learjet.

It's that time of year again when the Rally is back in Wales, and of course Pilatus HB-FOX is back in to accompany. Should be "based" til Sunday.

Bringing the Wales shambles back from Serbia (and taking them out beforehand indeed) was Titan 737 G-POWC.

EDIT: One always sneaks under the radar - in this morning was Binair Metro D-CKPP. Apparently in til Sunday as well.

Many thanks, as always, to SWAG. Hope this little summary is of interest to some!
The name says Sheffield but I'm actually South Wales based now! Also often seen at Southend, Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham.
