Might be taking a trip up to EDI on thurs/fri this coming week for a bit of spotting. Any locations in particular that i should check out?
Did you know that registration to Civilian Aviation is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Re: Spotting at EDI
Hi mate, Ingliston and the railway bridge at Turnhouse are best, you could also try Almond bank at the North side, you will see the aircraft touching down here, i presume by 'spotting' you are taking pics? The only problem with Almondbank is that your pics will be backlit if the sun is out.Calum93 wrote:Hi all,

Hope this is of help

Re: Spotting at EDI
Thanks for the reply chris Was more going along for some general obs rather than pics (need to get a new camera) Reckon I'll go for ingliston as it seems the easiest to access, as I don't drive. What can expect to see on a typical weekday? as in airframes & airlines
