This Sunday at Wellesbourne Mountford Airfield includes:

Two high speed taxi runs by the based XM655 Avro Vulcan
BBMF Dakota flypast
Large Model Association Avro Vulcan and Avro Lancaster displays.
Possibly a visit by a Dragon Rapide and a Eclipse Biz Jet
Static aircraft
Military vehicles
Classic cars
Classic motorbikes
Ground displays

Programme of Events
1000 Gates open / static aircraft arrivals
1030 Christen Eagle 2 arrival
1130 Vulcan XM655 high speed taxi on main runway
1200 Display by RC Vulcan
1230 Jet Provost circuits and landing – return to static
1300 Air Cadets Award ceremony
1330 Christen Eagle 2 circuits & landing – return to static
1415 Presentation of classic vehicle prizes
1430 Display by RC Vulcan followed by Lancaster
1500 Vulcan XM655 high speed taxi on main runway
1530 Flypast by BBMF Dakota
1540 Prize Raffle drawn
1630 Gates Close

Further info: a Dragon Rapide (G-AHAG) should be making its public debut following its long-term restoration in the static and their should be a Super Cub (G-APZJ) in the static as well.

G-AHAG has been in Lasham on a couple of occassions- hopefully it will be at the Moth Rallye at Woburn in August- only saw it whilst being restored at Membury a few years back.

I think he meant it was the first Airshow and it did attend just a shame about the overcast conditions for most of the day.
