Post by andygolfer » Sat Jul 28, 2018 1:13 pm

the best price that i've seen for this from a reliable dealer (I've used HDEW several times and always excellent, I think it was talldan76 who originally told me about them - thanks Dan)....

Enjoy!

I've had my 80D for nearly 2 years, love it!

Got it with the stock 18-135 USM, got a 70-300 USM in May ready for RIAT. Great lenses.

it's currently somewhere in mid Essex on a fedex van for delivery some time today! Looking forward to testing it :)

I only bought the body, i've got 2 18-55 IS canon lenses from previous cameras plus sigma 18-250, 150-600 and canon 100-400 so didn't need more. Oh forgot an canon 50mm f.1.4 as well which I rarely use.

I had a bundle with my original 1000D in 2009, 18-55 and 70-300 (both non IS!) they were good lenses. I gave the 70-300 to my son in law when I got the 18-250 as that just about covered the range of those 2. I've still got to 18-55 on my 1000D which I hardly ever use now - daughter uses it occasionally, I don't let her loose with the 70D!

I've got to go to Heathrow next week to pick up our neighbour arriving at 18.10 - how convenient! I think it will be a long day!

I use an 80D now, and although I've only had it for less than two weeks, I'm very happy with the results!

only been out twice so far so still getting used to it. Heathrow for the day tomorrow so should be well used to it by the time I leave in the evening (after CPA253 has unloaded and my neighbour is ready to be picked up!).

I does seem a nice bit of kit so far

:D :D

I've used them a few times, and never had a problem either - keep meaning to buy something else, and then the wife / kids / house get in the way just when I am getting near to amount I need :( :(
