Tristar preservation project in USA

Post by andygolfer » Sat May 16, 2015 7:44 am

EDIT - split from this topic: http://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/forum ... =6&t=21386

I got distracted and I looked at other Victorville photos and noticed this one: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Lockheed ... ff20e71937 I wonder why it is being re-painted and moved to Kansas City - for preservation?

Many thanks for that info.

Mainly initiated by my own post this has gone off topic from the original subject (self slap on the wrist  ) so to keep things tidy I will split this topic into 2 different ones, the original subject and another re the Tristar preservation as that will probably be of interest to several (or more) forum members

Great news to hear that a Tristar is being preserved. Their other projects are equally interesting.
