B737 to Bruntingthorpe 10/06

This evening, B737-300 VP-CAK made an ILS approach to R33 at Birmingham, once it had made cloudbreak, it broke off the aproach (at around 4miles out) and routed to Bruntingthorpe VFR low level. It was all white.

I believe a company is looking at parting out airliners at Bruntingthorpe (similar to ASI at Kemble), two RAF VC10's are already at Bruntingthorpe for parting out

It did indeed land at Bruntingthorpe, it's being handled by GJD services, I believe it's for storage initially.
