Duxford held the remembrance service today to mark the end of World War 1 and as part of this DH Rapide G-AKIF dropped poppies during a fly past

Concorde also took part and the nose was lowered in remembrance of those who lost their lives during the conflict

Highly appropriate Mark. Quite a stark but fitting contrast between the poppy drop and the Concorde droop. Nicely captured. Just watched last night's Festival of Remembrance and now catching up with this morning's Cenotaph ceremony. Never fails to cause wet eyes.
