Haven't posted here in a long time so thought I'd share some LAX action from last month,
My first real time spotting in the States, with the exception of a couple of hours at MCO maybe 12years ago. I arrived late afternoon on the 3rd and left on the afternoon of the 8th. All in all 1163 new Reg's and a great time! Incase any of you good folks I met are reading this, thank you all for the good time!
So on with the photos,

Re: LAX Part 1 (Photo Heavy)
excellent set and what variety.
love the A.380 tails all in a neat line, don't get that in the UK (at least not with that variety of airlines). Amazed at all the specials but puzzled by the blue and white Southwest one, it it a swan or something? - probably a something but can't tell for sure?
thanks for posting them and looks like you had a good trip
andy
EDIT just looked at that SW one blown up on flickr and I think the 'something' is a pelican

Re: LAX Part 1 (Photo Heavy)
Excellent shots, and a little more variety than you see at some US airports. Favourites for me are the retrojets and the MD-80.
