Davos coming up.

Post by lambo1784 » Thu Oct 11, 2018 1:48 pm

With the meeting coming up in January thought members would like some idea of what you can see on a day at Zurich the last couple of years.Taken on the Monday with a Easyjet flight from Gatwick,Monday is the only day I think you could do for a day with flights as they are.Around £75 looking at 2019 flights.
Pot luck as what you see these days as biz come and go all hours, some dropping off and going to other local fields or parking at Zurich.
If you have the money some spotters stay for the week, hire a car and do the various fields but the other half might not like me doing that so soon after xmas plus a possible house move in the offering apart from the weather you can encounter.
Links to 2018 and 2017 photos taken from the main viewing deck, car park 6 top level,a ramp tour and a walk round to the parking area past the freight area.
Not the best of quality on the 18 ones as very wet at times.

And for anybody who hasn't been before and is thinking of going, make sure you take some thermals!

Logs from previous trips to Zurich during Davos week can be found at http://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/forum ... .php?f=152
