Granville 29-Aug-2018

Post by Nighthawke » Fri Aug 31, 2018 6:06 pm

A quick visit late afternoon provided a handful of aircraft which means I can make a very rare post in current civil - and a chance of an offering in the POTM competition, even if only to make up numbers!

This unidentified N-reg Bonanza was a bit annoying:

DR.400 F-GBAI was easier to read:

DA.40 F-HDKG departed:

Finally a couple of arrivals with familiar DR.400 F-GORN first:

followed a few minutes later by Vans RV.9 F-PSBA:

I think it's a given that at every French airfield, there's a DR400

Great pics, nice to see a different airfield featured - I flew into Granville as a passenger years ago in a DR.360 G-AZIJ.
Pics taken as record shots only - no competition entries here :)

Thanks for the comments folks - much appreciated. Airfield visits are rare these days and posting photos even rarer  I manage to pop by get there every 1-2 years as part of a on-spotting family holiday, usually when the place is more active.
