Stansted 02-08-2018 Silkway B.747-8F and others

2 hours at Stansted this morning playing with my new toy! My EOS 80D only arrived yesterday pm so the lure of bright skies and a Silkway 747-8F due to depart made it a no brainer!
Heat haze became a problem before I left (and why I left so last few weren't worth keeping) I was quite distant which made it worse. anyway here are a few starting with my main quarry of the morning - love that scheme!

I think I need to leave banking shots until the autumn really, all the smaller types are a bit of a struggle at that range

thanks Mark, I think I need to go back my old spot of about 18 months ago for best bankers - bit further away but you see much more wing. That's only much good in the winter with heat haze like yesterday.
