A "Shed" at Dinard

Post by Andy L » Wed Feb 21, 2018 8:16 pm

Hi Folks
This Short SD3-30 arrived at Dinard on the 9 Feb from the US via Reykjavik and Belfast.
It is an ex USAF C-23A Sherpa which was based in Europe in the 80s/90s.
It's now been here for 12 days and shows no sign of moving.

I remember those Sherpas shuttling around USAF airfields in the 1980s - each named after one if I remember correctly. Interesting to see one still flying around, even if it's no longer in lizard camo! Very much like your first shot of it.
