anyone know why there is a number 3 by the door?

As well as the Spanish national flag, it looks like it also carries the regional flag of Valencia on the tail and next to the door.

Is there a famous F1 driver or footballer from Valencia whose team number was 3?

Its operated by Spanish company Mercadona through Executive Airlines SA which is a large Supermarket chain.
After a bit of looking the 3 at the door is only a new addition as it was not on the aircraft in Oct 2017.

They previously operated a G200(EC-LBB)
Maybe this is the third aircraft they have operated as it seems to have replaced the G200 which is back advertised for lease on the website
