New Polish Government B737 at Dinard

Post by Andy L » Sat Nov 11, 2017 7:59 pm

Evening all
The Boeing 737 that arrived in 9Air colours a couple of weeks ago was rolled out of the paintshop yesterday
in Polish Government colours. One side is in Polish and the other is in English. It also has titles celebrating
100 years of Polish independence. I guess the people on the tail are famous Poles but I don't kow who they are.
In typical delightful Breton weather it departed for a test flight this morning.

It should be delivered later this week so i may try to get it in slightly drier weather

Cheers

Well done in that weather Andy, I've no idea who they are either - is one of them Lech Wałęsa? :)

Likely that the chap on the port-side fin and at the head of the images on the starboard-side fin is Marshal Jozef Pilsudski, the first statesman of Poland.

History lesson over!
